وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللَّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Mot a mot
وَإِذْ
wa-idh
And when
يَعِدُكُمُ
ya'idukumu
promised you
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
إِحْدَى
ih'da
one
الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ
al-taifatayni
(of) the two groups
أَنَّهَا
annaha
that it (would be)
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
وَتَوَدُّونَ
watawadduna
and you wished
أَنَّ
anna
that
غَيْرَ
ghayra
(one) other than
ذَاتِ
dhati
that
الشَّوْكَةِ
al-shawkati
(of) the armed
تَكُونُ
takunu
would be
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
وَيُرِيدُ
wayuridu
But intended
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَن
an
to
يُحِقَّ
yuhiqqa
justify
الْحَقَّ
al-haqa
the truth
بِكَلِمَاتِهِ
bikalimatihi
by His words
وَيَقْطَعَ
wayaqta'a
and cut off
دَابِرَ
dabira
(the) roots
الْكَافِرِينَ
al-kafirina
(of) the disbelievers
