ۖ ۖ وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أُمَمًا مِّنْهُمُ الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَبَلَوْنَاهُم بِالْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
كلمة بكلمة
ۖ
ۖ
وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْ
waqatta'nahum
And We divided them
فِي
fi
in
الْأَرْضِ
al-ardi
the earth
أُمَمًا
umaman
(as) nations
مِّنْهُمُ
min'humu
Among them
الصَّالِحُونَ
al-salihuna
(are) the righteous
وَمِنْهُمْ
wamin'hum
and among them
دُونَ
duna
(are) other than
ذَلِكَ
dhalika
that
وَبَلَوْنَاهُم
wabalawnahum
And We tested them
بِالْحَسَنَاتِ
bil-hasanati
with the good
وَالسَّيِّئَاتِ
wal-sayiati
and the bad
لَعَلَّهُمْ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَرْجِعُونَ
yarji'una
return
