ۖ ۗ ۖ لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّائِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُوا وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ
كلمة بكلمة
ۖ
ۗ
ۖ
لَّيْسَ
laysa
It is not
الْبِرَّ
al-bira
[the] righteousness
أَن
an
that
تُوَلُّوا
tuwallu
you turn
وُجُوهَكُمْ
wujuhakum
your faces
قِبَلَ
qibala
towards
الْمَشْرِقِ
al-mashriqi
the east
وَالْمَغْرِبِ
wal-maghribi
and the west
وَلَكِنَّ
walakinna
[and] but
الْبِرَّ
al-bira
the righteous[ness]
مَنْ
man
(is he) who
آمَنَ
amana
believes
بِاللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَالْيَوْمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
الْآخِرِ
al-akhiri
[the] Last
وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ
wal-malaikati
and the Angels
وَالْكِتَابِ
wal-kitabi
and the Book
وَالنَّبِيِّينَ
wal-nabiyina
and the Prophets
وَآتَى
waata
and gives
الْمَالَ
al-mala
the wealth
عَلَى
ala
in
حُبِّهِ
hubbihi
spite of his love (for it)
ذَوِي
dhawi
(to) those
الْقُرْبَى
al-qur'ba
(of) the near relatives
وَالْيَتَامَى
wal-yatama
and the orphans
وَالْمَسَاكِينَ
wal-masakina
and the needy
وَابْنَ
wa-ib'na
and (of)
السَّبِيلِ
al-sabili
the wayfarer
وَالسَّائِلِينَ
wal-sailina
and those who ask
وَفِي
wafi
and in
الرِّقَابِ
al-riqabi
freeing the necks (slaves)
وَأَقَامَ
wa-aqama
and (who) establish
الصَّلَاةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَآتَى
waata
and give
الزَّكَاةَ
al-zakata
the zakah
وَالْمُوفُونَ
wal-mufuna
and those who fulfill
بِعَهْدِهِمْ
bi'ahdihim
their covenant
إِذَا
idha
when
عَاهَدُوا
ahadu
they make it
وَالصَّابِرِينَ
wal-sabirina
and those who are patient
فِي
fi
in
الْبَأْسَاءِ
al-basai
[the] suffering
وَالضَّرَّاءِ
wal-darai
and [the] hardship
وَحِينَ
wahina
at (the) time
الْبَأْسِ
al-basi
(of) [the] stress
أُولَئِكَ
ulaika
Those
الَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones who
صَدَقُوا
sadaqu
are true
وَأُولَئِكَ
wa-ulaika
and those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
الْمُتَّقُونَ
al-mutaquna
(are) the righteous
