ۖ ۗ ۚ كَانَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ فَهَدَى اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

ۖ
ۗ
ۚ
كَانَ
kana
Was
النَّاسُ
al-nasu
mankind
أُمَّةً
ummatan
a community
وَاحِدَةً
wahidatan
single
فَبَعَثَ
faba'atha
then raised up
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
النَّبِيِّينَ
al-nabiyina
[the] Prophets
مُبَشِّرِينَ
mubashirina
(as) bearers of glad tidings
وَمُنذِرِينَ
wamundhirina
and (as) warners
وَأَنزَلَ
wa-anzala
and sent down
مَعَهُمُ
ma'ahumu
with them
الْكِتَابَ
al-kitaba
the Book
بِالْحَقِّ
bil-haqi
in [the] truth
لِيَحْكُمَ
liyahkuma
to judge
بَيْنَ
bayna
between
النَّاسِ
al-nasi
[the] people
فِيمَا
fima
in what
اخْتَلَفُوا
ikh'talafu
they differed
فِيهِ
fihi
[in it]
وَمَا
wama
And (did) not
اخْتَلَفَ
ikh'talafa
differ[ed]
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
إِلَّا
illa
except
الَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُوتُوهُ
utuhu
were given it
مِن
min
from
بَعْدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
جَاءَتْهُمُ
jaathumu
came to them
الْبَيِّنَاتُ
al-bayinatu
the clear proofs
بَغْيًا
baghyan
(out of) jealousy
بَيْنَهُمْ
baynahum
among themselves
فَهَدَى
fahada
And guided
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
الَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
آمَنُوا
amanu
believe[d]
لِمَا
lima
regarding what
اخْتَلَفُوا
ikh'talafu
they differed
فِيهِ
fihi
[in it]
مِنَ
mina
of
الْحَقِّ
al-haqi
the Truth
بِإِذْنِهِ
bi-idh'nihi
with His permission
وَاللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَهْدِي
yahdi
guides
مَن
man
whom
يَشَاءُ
yashau
He wills
إِلَى
ila
to
صِرَاطٍ
siratin
a path
مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
mus'taqimin
straight
