ۖ ۚ ۚ ۚ ۚ ۗ ۗ ۗ وَالْوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلَى الْمَوْلُودِ لَهُ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَا تُضَارَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ وَعَلَى الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالًا عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّا آتَيْتُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

ۗ
وَالْوَالِدَاتُ
wal-walidatu
And the mothers
يُرْضِعْنَ
yur'di'na
shall suckle
أَوْلَادَهُنَّ
awladahunna
their children
حَوْلَيْنِ
hawlayni
(for) two years
كَامِلَيْنِ
kamilayni
complete
لِمَنْ
liman
for whoever
أَرَادَ
arada
wishes
أَن
an
to
يُتِمَّ
yutimma
complete
الرَّضَاعَةَ
al-rada'ata
the suckling
وَعَلَى
wa'ala
And upon
الْمَوْلُودِ
al-mawludi
the father
لَهُ
lahu
(on) him
رِزْقُهُنَّ
riz'quhunna
(is) their provision
وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ
wakis'watuhunna
and their clothing
بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
bil-ma'rufi
in a fair manner
لَا
la
Not
تُكَلَّفُ
tukallafu
is burdened
نَفْسٌ
nafsun
any soul
إِلَّا
illa
except
وُسْعَهَا
wus'aha
its capacity
لَا
la
Not
تُضَارَّ
tudarra
made to suffer
وَالِدَةٌ
walidatun
(the) mother
بِوَلَدِهَا
biwaladiha
because of her child
وَلَا
wala
and not
مَوْلُودٌ
mawludun
(the) father
لَّهُ
lahu
(be)
بِوَلَدِهِ
biwaladihi
because of his child
وَعَلَى
wa'ala
And on
الْوَارِثِ
al-warithi
the heirs
مِثْلُ
mith'lu
(is a duty) like
ذَلِكَ
dhalika
that
فَإِنْ
fa-in
Then if
أَرَادَا
arada
they both desire
فِصَالًا
fisalan
weaning
عَن
an
through
تَرَاضٍ
taradin
mutual consent
مِّنْهُمَا
min'huma
of both of them
وَتَشَاوُرٍ
watashawurin
and consultation
فَلَا
fala
then no
جُنَاحَ
junaha
blame
عَلَيْهِمَا
alayhima
on both of them
وَإِنْ
wa-in
And if
أَرَدتُّمْ
aradttum
you want
أَن
an
to
تَسْتَرْضِعُوا
tastardi'u
ask another women to suckle
أَوْلَادَكُمْ
awladakum
your child
فَلَا
fala
then (there is) no
جُنَاحَ
junaha
blame
عَلَيْكُمْ
alaykum
on you
إِذَا
idha
when
سَلَّمْتُم
sallamtum
you pay
مَّا
ma
what
آتَيْتُم
ataytum
(is) due (from) you
بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
bil-ma'rufi
in a fair manner
وَاتَّقُوا
wa-ittaqu
And fear
اللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَاعْلَمُوا
wa-i'lamu
and know
أَنَّ
anna
that
اللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
بَصِيرٌ
basirun
(is) All-Seer
