ۗ ۖ ۗ ۗ ۖ ۗ ۖ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُّعَاسًا يَغْشَى طَائِفَةً مِّنكُمْ وَطَائِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِن شَيْءٍ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ يُخْفُونَ فِي أَنفُسِهِم مَّا لَا يُبْدُونَ لَكَ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا قُل لَّوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللَّهُ مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

overcoming
طَائِفَةً
taifatan
a group
مِّنكُمْ
minkum
of you
وَطَائِفَةٌ
wataifatun
while a group
قَدْ
qad
certainly
أَهَمَّتْهُمْ
ahammathum
worried [them]
أَنفُسُهُمْ
anfusuhum
(about) themselves
يَظُنُّونَ
yazunnuna
thinking
بِاللَّهِ
bil-lahi
about Allah
غَيْرَ
ghayra
other than
الْحَقِّ
al-haqi
the truth
ظَنَّ
zanna
(the) thought
الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
al-jahiliyati
(of) [the] ignorance
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
saying
هَل
hal
Is (there)
لَّنَا
lana
for us
مِنَ
mina
from
الْأَمْرِ
al-amri
the matter
مِن
min
any
شَيْءٍ
shayin
thing
قُلْ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
الْأَمْرَ
al-amra
the matter
كُلَّهُ
kullahu
all (of) it
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(is) for Allah
يُخْفُونَ
yukh'funa
They hide
فِي
fi
in
أَنفُسِهِم
anfusihim
themselves
مَّا
ma
what
لَا
la
not
يُبْدُونَ
yub'duna
they reveal
لَكَ
laka
to you
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
They say
لَوْ
law
if
كَانَ
kana
was
لَنَا
lana
for us
مِنَ
mina
from
الْأَمْرِ
al-amri
the matter
شَيْءٌ
shayon
anything
مَّا
ma
not
قُتِلْنَا
qutil'na
we would have been killed
هَاهُنَا
hahuna
here
قُل
qul
Say
لَّوْ
law
if
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you were
فِي
fi
in
بُيُوتِكُمْ
buyutikum
your houses
لَبَرَزَ
labaraza
surely (would have) come out
الَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كُتِبَ
kutiba
was decreed
عَلَيْهِمُ
alayhimu
upon them
الْقَتْلُ
al-qatlu
[the] death
إِلَى
ila
towards
مَضَاجِعِهِمْ
madaji'ihim
their places of death
وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ
waliyabtaliya
And that might test
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
صُدُورِكُمْ
sudurikum
your breasts
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ
waliyumahhisa
and that He may purge
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
قُلُوبِكُمْ
qulubikum
your hearts
وَاللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Aware
بِذَاتِ
bidhati
of what
الصُّدُورِ
al-suduri
(is in) the breasts
