ۗ ۚ فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلَافَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوا أَن يُجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَقَالُوا لَا تَنفِرُوا فِي الْحَرِّ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّا لَّوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ

in their staying

al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَكَرِهُوا
wakarihu
and they disliked
أَن

strive
بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ
bi-amwalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
فِي

سَبِيلِ

اللَّهِ

(of) Allah
وَقَالُوا
waqalu
and they said
لَا

(Do) not
تَنفِرُوا
tanfiru
go forth
فِي

الْحَرِّ

نَارُ

(The) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(is) more intense
حَرًّا
harran
(in) heat
لَّوْ
