About Islamic AI

Our Islamic AI relies on authentic sources: the Quran, hadiths with their authenticity grade and explanation, and supplications from the Quran and Sunnah. It uses information retrieval technology (RAG): before answering, the assistant searches this Islamic knowledge base for passages related to your question, then writes its answer from what it found. When an answer relies on a verse, a hadith or a supplication, the reference appears below the answer, and each verse links to its page in our Quran so you can check it yourself.

How to use this tool?

Simply ask your question in natural language, in English, French or Arabic. The assistant analyzes the relevant Islamic sources and answers with its references. You can then ask a follow-up question ("and while travelling?", "what if I forgot it?"): the assistant takes the conversation into account. For best results, ask specific questions: instead of "Tell me about prayer", ask "What are the conditions for the validity of prayer in Islam?". When a tool on this site answers better than a conversation (prayer times, qibla, zakat, iddah or inheritance calculations), the assistant points you to it.

Our Sources

The assistant searches three bodies of text, which you can also browse on this site: the Quran, in Arabic and in translation; hadiths from the major collections, including Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, with their authenticity grade and explanation; and supplications (duas) from the Quran and Sunnah, with their source. To write its answer, the language model relies on these passages and on its general knowledge. On questions of jurisprudence (fiqh), the four recognized schools, Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali, sometimes hold different views: an answer may present only one of them. The references used appear below each answer.

Limitations and Precautions

While our AI relies on authentic sources, it is important to understand its limitations. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies or incomplete interpretations. For fatwa (Islamic legal opinion) questions or important life decisions, always consult a qualified scholar (mufti or imam). AI does not replace traditional learning of Islamic knowledge from qualified teachers. Use this tool as a starting point for your research, not as a final reference.

Topics You Can Explore

Our AI can answer a wide range of Islamic questions: the pillars of Islam and faith (Iman), the rules of prayer, fasting, Zakat, and Hajj, interpretation of Quranic verses (tafsir), Prophetic hadiths and their explanations, Islamic history and the biography of the Prophet (Sira), Islamic morals and ethics, marriage and family in Islam, lawful (halal) and unlawful (haram) commercial transactions, and many other topics related to the daily life of a Muslim.
