2. PURPOSE AND ACCEPTANCE

These Terms of Use (hereinafter « Terms ») define the rules for accessing and using the Al Muslim Plus Application, available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store), as well as the Website almuslimplus.com.

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, or by accessing the Website, you unreservedly accept these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use our services.

Use of the Application also implies acceptance of our Privacy Policy.

3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Al Muslim Plus is a spiritual companion application for Muslims, offering the following features:

Quran Reading: Arabic text, translations, and transliterations
Pronunciation Learning: Voice assessment assisted by artificial intelligence
Prayer Times: Precise calculation based on your location
Qibla Direction: Compass towards Mecca
Hadiths: Authentic collections with translations
Duas (supplications): Collection of supplications with audio
Prayer Notifications: Reminders with customizable Adhan
Progress Tracking: Gamification of learning

3.2 Free Access

The Application is currently offered free of charge with access to all features:

Access to all 114 surahs of the Quran
Pronunciation assessment
Prayer times and Qibla
Prayer notifications
Access to hadiths and duas
Progress tracking

4. REGISTRATION AND USER ACCOUNT

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing:

A valid email address
A secure password
Optionally: your first name and profile picture

You can also sign up via Google Sign-In.

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

The confidentiality of your login credentials
All activities carried out from your account
Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use

4.3 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. DATA COLLECTION AND USE

5.1 Data Collected

We collect the following data:

5.2 Voice Recordings

When you use the pronunciation assessment feature:

Your recordings are temporary (30 seconds maximum)
They are analyzed by our secure voice assessment system
They are deleted immediately after processing
No recording is permanently stored

5.3 Location

Location is used to:

Calculate precise prayer times for your position
Determine Qibla direction
Display your city name

Your coordinates are cached locally for up to 24 hours. If GPS access is denied, approximate geolocation by IP address may be used.

6. SUBCONTRACTORS AND DATA TRANSFERS

To provide our services, we use trusted technical providers, selected for their reliability and compliance with data protection standards.

6.1 Authentication and Hosting Services

Purpose: Secure management of user accounts and data storage
Data involved: Login credentials, user profile
Location: Secure servers compliant with international standards

6.2 Voice Analysis Services

Purpose: Quranic pronunciation assessment
Data involved: Temporary audio recordings (deleted after analysis)
Guarantees: No retention of recordings by our providers

6.3 Al Muslim Plus Infrastructure

Purpose: Data synchronization, religious content delivery
Data involved: Progress, preferences, favorites
Location: Secure servers

Some data may be transferred to third countries as part of our relationships with our subcontractors. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, certifications) in accordance with applicable regulations.

7. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

The Application may request the following permissions:

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 Application Content

All elements of the Application (design, logo, interfaces, source code) are the exclusive property of SENEGO MEDIA s.u.a.r.l or its licensors.

8.2 Religious Content

The text of the Holy Quran is in the public domain. Translations, transliterations, and audio recitations come from authorized sources and are used in accordance with the rights of their authors.

Hadith collections (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, etc.) and duas are sourced from authentic Islamic sources.

8.3 Authorized Use

You are authorized to:

Use the Application for your personal and non-commercial use
Share religious content for educational purposes

It is prohibited to:

Reproduce, modify, or distribute the Application
Decompile or disassemble the source code
Use the Application for commercial purposes without authorization

9. TERMS OF USE

9.1 Minimum Age

The Application is accessible from 13 years of age.

If you are between 13 and 16 years old, you declare that you have obtained permission from your parents or legal guardians to use the Application and accept these Terms.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the use of the Application by their minor children.

9.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use the Application in accordance with its spiritual and educational purpose
Comply with applicable laws
Not disrupt the operation of services
Not attempt to fraudulently access systems

9.3 User Content

You retain ownership of your personal data (progress, favorites, preferences). By using the Application, you grant us a limited license to process this data for the purposes described in these Terms.

10. FREE SERVICE

The Al Muslim Plus Application is currently offered free of charge with all its features.

Premium features may be offered in the future. In this case, these Terms will be updated and you will be informed before any pricing changes.

11. YOUR DATA RIGHTS

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, you have the following rights:

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

11.2 Right to Rectification

You can correct your personal information directly in the Application or contact us for any changes.

11.3 Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)

You can request the complete deletion of your account and all your personal data.

11.4 Right to Portability

You can request to receive your data in a structured and commonly used format.

11.5 Right to Object

You can object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.

11.6 Right to Withdraw Consent

For processing based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

12. ACCOUNT DELETION

12.1 Deletion Procedure

To permanently delete your account and all your data, you have two options:

Option 1: From the Application (recommended)

Go to your Profile in the Application
Select the « Delete my account » option
Confirm your request
Your account will be deleted immediately

Option 2: By email

Send an email to almuslimplus@gmail.com
Subject: « Account deletion request »
Include the email address associated with your account
Confirm your deletion request

12.2 Data Deleted

Deleting your account results in the permanent deletion of:

Your user profile (email, name, photo)
Your learning progress
Your favorites (verses, hadiths, duas)
Your preferences and settings
Your synchronization history
Your subscription data

12.3 Processing Time

Deletion via the Application: immediate.

Deletion by email: within a maximum of 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

12.4 Retained Data

Certain data may be retained for legal obligations (billing, fraud prevention) for the duration required by law.

13. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

Encryption: All communications use HTTPS protocol
Secure authentication: Temporary sessions with automatic renewal
Secure storage: Data hosted on secure servers
Restricted access: Only authorized personnel can access data
Automatic deletion: Voice recordings are deleted after processing

14. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

14.2 Offline Mode

Some features remain accessible without an internet connection thanks to local data storage.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

15.1 Religious Content

Religious content is provided for informational and educational purposes. SENEGO MEDIA s.u.a.r.l cannot be held responsible for the interpretation or use of this content. For any important religious questions, consult a qualified scholar.

15.2 Calculation Accuracy

Prayer times and Qibla direction are calculated according to recognized methods, but their accuracy depends on:

The quality of your device’s GPS signal
The selected calculation parameters
Local geographical conditions

We recommend verifying with your local mosque schedules.

15.3 Pronunciation Assessment

Pronunciation assessment is a learning aid tool based on artificial intelligence. It does not replace instruction from a qualified Quran teacher (Sheikh/Sheikha).

15.4 General Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, SENEGO MEDIA s.u.a.r.l shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Application.

16. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

In case of substantial modification:

You will be notified via notification in the Application or by email
The update date will be updated at the top of the document
A reasonable period will be given before the changes take effect

Continued use of the Application after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by Senegalese law.

In case of dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of these Terms, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution.

Failing amicable agreement, the courts of Dakar, Senegal shall have sole jurisdiction.
