Once I came riding a female donkey when I had almost attained the age of puberty. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was leading people in prayer at Mina with no wall in front of him

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that once he was with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) at Mina during the Farewell Pilgrimage, and he came riding a female donkey. He passed in front of part of the row while the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was leading his Companions in prayer with no wall in front of him. Ibn ‘Abbās thus dismounted and let the female donkey loose to graze and he joined the row.

At that time, as he reported, he was about to attain the age of puberty. This means that he reached an age in which he should have been blamed if he had done something wrong that would invalidate others' prayer. However, neither the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) nor any of his Companions objected to what he had done.
