A time will come when a man will go about with charity from his gold and not find anyone to receive it. One man will be seen being followed by forty women dependent upon him on account of the scarcity of men and the high number of women
عن أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لَيَأْتِيَنَّ على الناس زمانٌ يَطُوفُ الرجلُ فيه بالصدقة من الذهب فلا يجد أحدا يأخذها منه، ويُرَى الرجلُ الواحدُ يَتْبَعُهُ أربعون امرأة يَلُذْنَ به من قِلَّةِ الرجال وكَثْرَةِ النساء».
Explanation
Money will increase so abundantly that no one will be found to take it. Men will decrease and women will increase, either due to wars or because more women will be born, to such an extent that for one man, there will be forty women, including daughters, sisters, and relatives, who will depend on him.
