A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and talked to him about a matter of his, then he said: "It is as Allah wills and you will." The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) disapproved of what he said and informed him that coupling the creature's will with the will of Allah using the conjunctive 'and' constitutes minor Shirk (polytheism) and it is impermissible for a Muslim to utter such words.
Then, he guided him to the correct wording: "What Allah alone wills," thus singling Allah out in His will and not coupling Him with anyone else's will using any of the conjunctions.
