Authentic hadithNarrated by Muslim

And verily, Allah revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one boasts of oneself before another or oppresses another

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) stood among his Companions to deliver a sermon, and among what he said was: Indeed, Allah revealed to him that people must show humility toward one another—by lowering their wings to others and displaying gentleness of character—so that no one should boast of greatness, pride, or superiority over others due to lineage, wealth, or anything else. And so that no one should do wrong or transgress against another.
