I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for the one who refrains from arguing even if he is right
عن أبي أمامة الباهلي رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «أنا زعيم ببيت في رَبَضِ الجنة لمن ترك المِرَاءَ وإن كان مُحِقًّا، وببيت في وسط الجنة لمن ترك الكذب وإن كان مازحاً، وببيت في أعلى الجنة لمن حَسَّنَ خلقه»
Explanation
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed us that he guarantees a house in the surroundings of Paradise for the one who refrains from arguing even if he is right, because arguing is a waste of time and causes enmity and hatred among people.
He also guarantees a house in the middle part of Paradise for the one who refrains from lying even if he is joking and a house in the highest part of Paradise for the one who improves and perfects his manners by striving to discipline himself.
