Meditating on Allah's names is a form of worship. Each name reveals an aspect of divine perfection and invites us to reflect on our relationship with our Creator. By understanding that Al Awwal means "The First", we learn to know Allah better and worship Him sincerely.
It is recommended to call upon Allah by His most beautiful names, as the Quran says: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them" (Al-A'raf, 7:180). You can use the name الأوَّلُ (Al Awwal) in your personal supplications to draw closer to Allah.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Allah has 99 names, one hundred minus one. Whoever enumerates them (learns them, understands them and acts accordingly) will enter Paradise." (Bukhari and Muslim). Knowing Allah's names means understanding His attributes, His greatness and His mercy. This strengthens faith and helps the Muslim draw closer to their Lord.
