The Story
Yunus left his people in frustration before receiving Allah's permission. He boarded a ship, was thrown overboard, and was swallowed by a great whale. He repented in the darkness of the whale's belly with the famous supplication, and Allah saved him. His people of Nineveh are the only nation that repented collectively and were spared.
