Surah Al-An'am 6:29 — translation and meaning

وَقَالُوا إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ

Transliteration

Wa qaalooo in hiya illaa hayaatunad dunyaa wa maa nahnu bimab'ooseen

Translation

And they say, "There is none but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

These idolaters say, ‘There is no life but the life we presently have and we will not be raised to give account’.
