Surah Al-Anbiya 21:33 — translation and meaning

ۖ وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ

Transliteration
Wa Huwal lazee khalaqal laila wannahaara washshamsa wal qamara kullun fee falakiny yashbahoon
Translation
And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Allah alone is the One Who created the night for relaxation, created the day for earning one’s livelihood, created the sun as a sign of day, and the moon as a sign of night. The sun and moon both run in their specific orbits, without moving away or side-tracking.
