Surah Al-Baqara 2:12 — translation and meaning

أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ

Beware
إِنَّهُمْ

الْمُفْسِدُونَ
al-muf'siduna
(are) the ones who spread corruption
وَلَكِن
walakin
[and] but
لَّا

يَشْعُرُونَ
yash'uruna
they realize (it)
Transliteration
Alaaa innahum humul mufsidoona wa laakil laa yash'uroon
Translation
Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
The truth is that it is they who ruin things, but they do not admit this, nor do they know that their actions are the cause of all ruin.
