وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُوا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ
Word by Word
وَأَقِيمُوا
wa-aqimu
And establish
الصَّلَاةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَآتُوا
waatu
and give
الزَّكَاةَ
al-zakata
zakah
وَارْكَعُوا
wa-ir'ka'u
and bow down
مَعَ
ma'a
with
الرَّاكِعِينَ
al-raki'ina
those who bow down
Transliteration
Wa aqeemus salaata wa aatuz zakaata warka'oo ma'ar raaki'een
Translation
And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Establish the prayers properly with its obligatory and recommended parts; give Zakat from your wealth, which Allah has put in your hands; and be humble to Allah with those who are humble of Muhammad’s nation (peace be upon him).
