ۚ وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُم مِّنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَفِي ذَلِكُم بَلَاءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

(who were) afflicting you (with)

horrible
الْعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
torment
يُذَبِّحُونَ
yudhabbihuna
slaughtering
أَبْنَاءَكُمْ
abnaakum
your sons
وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ
wayastahyuna
and letting live
نِسَاءَكُمْ
nisaakum
your women
وَفِي
wafi
And in
ذَلِكُم
dhalikum
that
بَلَاءٌ
balaon
(was) a trial
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمْ
rabbikum
your Lord
عَظِيمٌ
azimun
