Surah Al-Baqara 2:99 — translation and meaning

ۖ وَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَا يَكْفُرُ بِهَا إِلَّا الْفَاسِقُونَ

And indeed

آيَاتٍ

Verses
بَيِّنَاتٍ
bayyinatin
clear
وَمَا

and not
يَكْفُرُ
yakfuru
disbelieves
بِهَا
biha
in them
إِلَّا
illa
except
الْفَاسِقُونَ
al-fasiquna
the defiantly disobedient
Transliteration
Wa laqad anzalnaaa ilaika Aayaatim baiyinaatinw wa maa yakfuru bihaaa illal faasiqoon
Translation
And We have certainly revealed to you verses [which are] clear proofs, and no one would deny them except the defiantly disobedient.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
I have revealed to you, O Prophet, clear signs proving the truth of your prophethood and revelation. The only people who reject these signs, despite its clarity, are those who have abandoned Allah’s path.
