وَقَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلَى عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

وَأَصِيلًا
wa-asilan
and evening

Transliteration

Wa qaalooo asaateerul awwaleenak tatabahaa fahiya tumlaa 'alaihi bukratanw wa aseelaa

Translation

And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

And these rejecters of the Qur’ān said, “The Qur’ān is vain tales of the previous people which they used to record; Muhammad has copied them. They are recited to him throughout the day”.
