Surah Al-Layl 92:19 — translation and meaning
الليل · Verse 19 / 21 · Page 596
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى
Word by Word
وَمَا
wama
And not
لِأَحَدٍ
li-ahadin
for anyone
عِندَهُ
indahu
with him
مِن

نِّعْمَةٍ
ni'matin
favor
تُجْزَى
tuj'za
to be recompensed
Transliteration
Wa maa li ahadin 'indahoo min ni'matin tujzaaa
Translation
And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
He does not spend whatever wealth he spends, to repay any favour done to him by anyone.
