Surah Ali 'Imran 3:82 — translation and meaning
آل عمران · Verse 82 / 200 · Page 60
فَمَن تَوَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ

Then whoever
تَوَلَّى
tawalla
turns away
بَعْدَ

ذَلِكَ

فَأُولَئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
هُمُ
humu
they
الْفَاسِقُونَ
al-fasiquna
(are) the defiantly disobedient
Transliteration
Faman tawallaa ba'da zaalika fa ulaaa'ika humul faasiqoon
Translation
And whoever turned away after that - they were the defiantly disobedient.
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
Whoever turns away after this promise witnessed by Allah and His messengers, they are the ones who leave the religion of Allah and His obedience.
