ۚ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ تَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Transliteration

Khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; Ta'aalaa 'ammaa yushrikoon

Translation

He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Allah created the heavens and the earth without any precedent for a true purpose. He did not create them in vain, but created them to serve as a sign of His greatness. He is Exalted and high above their ascribing others as partners to Him.
