وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا

Transliteration
Wa aasaral hayaatad dunyaa
Translation
And preferred the life of the world,
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
And gave priority to the temporary worldly life over the everlasting afterlife.
