ۙ وَيَدْرَأُ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَن تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ

Transliteration

Wa yadra'u anhal 'azaaba an tashhada arba'a shahaa daatim billaahi innahoo laminal kaazibeen

Translation

But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Through this she will be deserving of the fixed punishment for adultery. She will repel this fixed punishment by testifying by Allah four times: that he is lying in what he has accused her of.
