فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ

Transliteration
Faqaala inee saqeem
Translation
And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
Verse interpretation (Tafsir)
He said, presenting an excuse from having to go with his people to their festival, “I am sick.”
