يُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَ

Transliteration

Yulqoonas sam'a wa aksaruhum aaziboon

Translation

They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

“The satans eavesdrop on the exalted assembly of angels and then convey that information to their fortune-teller friends. The majority of fortune tellers are liars; if they are truthful in one statement, they tell a hundred lies with it.
