Surah Az-Zumar 39:70 — translation and meaning

وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

Transliteration

Wa wuffiyat kullu nafsim maa 'amilat wa Huwa a'lamubimaa yaf'aloon

Translation

And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Allah will give each soul its recompense in full, whether its actions were good or evil. Allah knows best what they do. Nothing of their actions, whether good or bad, is hidden from Him and He will give them the recompense of their actions on this day.
