ۖ قَالُوا يَاصَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَذَا أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ

Do you forbid us

we worship

يَعْبُدُ
ya'budu
worshipped
آبَاؤُنَا
abauna
our forefathers
وَإِنَّنَا
wa-innana
And indeed we
لَفِي
lafi
surely (are) in
شَكٍّ
shakkin
doubt
مِّمَّا
mimma
about what
تَدْعُونَا
tad'una
you call us
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhi
to it
مُرِيبٍ
muribin
