تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا

Transliteration

Takaadus samaawaatu yatafattarna minhu wa tanshaq qul ardu wa takhirrul jibaalu haddaa

Translation

The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

The heavens almost rupture because of this detested statement, the earth almost splits, and the mountains almost fall in ruins.
