ۙ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ارْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدَى الشَّيْطَانُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَى لَهُمْ

Transliteration

Innal lazeenar taddoo 'alaaa adbaarihim mim ba'di maa tabaiyana lahumul hudash Shaitaanu sawwala lahum wa amlaa lahum

Translation

Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Those who turn back from their belief towards disbelief and hypocrisy, after the proof has been established for them and the truth of the Prophet (peace be upon him) has become clear to them, Satan is the one who has beautified for them disbelief and hypocrisy and has raised distant hopes in them.
