ۖ إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْإِنسَانُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا
كلمة بكلمة
ۖ
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed
عَرَضْنَا
aradna
[We] offered
الْأَمَانَةَ
al-amanata
the Trust
عَلَى
ala
to
السَّمَاوَاتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَالْأَرْضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَالْجِبَالِ
wal-jibali
and the mountains
فَأَبَيْنَ
fa-abayna
but they refused
أَن

يَحْمِلْنَهَا
yahmil'naha
bear it
وَأَشْفَقْنَ
wa-ashfaqna
and they feared
مِنْهَا
min'ha
from it
وَحَمَلَهَا
wahamalaha
but bore it
الْإِنسَانُ
al-insanu
the man
إِنَّهُ
innahu
Indeed he
كَانَ
kana
was
ظَلُومًا
zaluman
very unjust
جَهُولًا
jahulan
very ignorant
