ۚ ۖ ۖ وَلَمَّا رَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا قَالَ بِئْسَمَا خَلَفْتُمُونِي مِن بَعْدِي أَعَجِلْتُمْ أَمْرَ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ وَأَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ أَخِيهِ يَجُرُّهُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ ابْنَ أُمَّ إِنَّ الْقَوْمَ اسْتَضْعَفُونِي وَكَادُوا يَقْتُلُونَنِي فَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِيَ الْأَعْدَاءَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

and grieved
قَالَ

he said
بِئْسَمَا
bi'sama
Evil is what
خَلَفْتُمُونِي
khalaftumuni
you have done in my place
مِن
min
from
بَعْدِي
ba'di
after me
أَعَجِلْتُمْ
a'ajil'tum
Were you impatient
أَمْرَ
amra
(over the) matter
رَبِّكُمْ
rabbikum
(of) your Lord
وَأَلْقَى
wa-alqa
And he cast down
الْأَلْوَاحَ
al-alwaha
the tablets
وَأَخَذَ
wa-akhadha
and seized
بِرَأْسِ
birasi
by head
أَخِيهِ
akhihi
his brother
يَجُرُّهُ
yajurruhu
dragging him
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhi
to himself
قَالَ
qala
He said
ابْنَ
ib'na
O son
أُمَّ
umma
(of) my mother
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
الْقَوْمَ
al-qawma
the people
اسْتَضْعَفُونِي
is'tad'afuni
considered me weak
وَكَادُوا
wakadu
and were about (to)
يَقْتُلُونَنِي
yaqtulunani
kill me
فَلَا
fala
So (let) not
تُشْمِتْ
tush'mit
rejoice
بِيَ
biya
over me
الْأَعْدَاءَ
al-a'daa
the enemies
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَجْعَلْنِي
taj'alni
place me
مَعَ
ma'a
with
الْقَوْمِ
al-qawmi
the people
الظَّالِمِينَ
al-zalimina
(who are) wrongdoing
