ۚ ۙ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِن بَعْدِ الصَّلَاةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لَا نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلَا نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الْآثِمِينَ

(Take) testimony
بَيْنِكُمْ

إِذَا

حَضَرَ

approaches
أَحَدَكُمُ

one of you
الْمَوْتُ
al-mawtu
[the] death
حِينَ
hina
(at the) time (of making)
الْوَصِيَّةِ
al-wasiyati
[the] a will
اثْنَانِ
ith'nani
two
ذَوَا
dhawa
men
عَدْلٍ
adlin
just
مِّنكُمْ
minkum
among you
أَوْ
aw
or
آخَرَانِ
akharani
two others
مِنْ
min
from
غَيْرِكُمْ
ghayrikum
other than you
إِنْ
in
if
أَنتُمْ
antum
you
ضَرَبْتُمْ
darabtum
(are) travel(ing)
فِي
fi
in
الْأَرْضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَأَصَابَتْكُم
fa-asabatkum
then befalls you
مُّصِيبَةُ
musibatu
calamity
الْمَوْتِ
al-mawti
(of) [the] death
تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا
tahbisunahuma
Detain both of them
مِن
min
from
بَعْدِ
ba'di
after
الصَّلَاةِ
al-salati
the prayer
فَيُقْسِمَانِ
fayuq'simani
and let them both swear
بِاللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
إِنِ
ini
if
ارْتَبْتُمْ
ir'tabtum
you doubt
لَا

Not
نَشْتَرِي
nashtari
we will exchange
بِهِ
bihi
it for
ثَمَنًا
thamanan
a price
وَلَوْ
walaw
even if
كَانَ
kana
he is
ذَا
dha
(of)
قُرْبَى
qur'ba
a near relative
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَكْتُمُ
naktumu
we will conceal
شَهَادَةَ
shahadata
testimony
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed, we
إِذًا
idhan
then
لَّمِنَ
lamina
(will) surely (be) of
الْآثِمِينَ
al-athimina
the sinners
