ۖ وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ
كلمة بكلمة
ۖ
وَإِذْ
wa-idh
And when
أَخَذَ
akhadha
took
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
مِيثَاقَ
mithaqa
a Covenant
الَّذِينَ
alladhina
(from) those who
أُوتُوا
utu
were given
الْكِتَابَ
al-kitaba
the Book
لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ
latubayyinunnahu
You certainly make it clear
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the mankind
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَكْتُمُونَهُ
taktumunahu
conceal it
فَنَبَذُوهُ
fanabadhuhu
Then they threw it
وَرَاءَ
waraa
behind
ظُهُورِهِمْ
zuhurihim
their backs
وَاشْتَرَوْا
wa-ish'taraw
and they exchanged
بِهِ
bihi
[with] it
ثَمَنًا
thamanan
(for) a price
قَلِيلًا
qalilan
little
فَبِئْسَ
fabi'sa
And wretched
مَا
ma
(is) what
يَشْتَرُونَ
yashtaruna
they purchase
