ۚ ۚ ۗ ۖ الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ وَاللَّاتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا

ۖ
الرِّجَالُ
al-rijalu
[The] men
قَوَّامُونَ
qawwamuna
(are) protectors
عَلَى
ala
of
النِّسَاءِ
al-nisai
the women
بِمَا
bima
because
فَضَّلَ
faddala
(has) bestowed
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بَعْضَهُمْ
ba'dahum
some of them
عَلَى
ala
over
بَعْضٍ
ba'din
others
وَبِمَا
wabima
and because
أَنفَقُوا
anfaqu
they spend
مِنْ
min
from
أَمْوَالِهِمْ
amwalihim
their wealth
فَالصَّالِحَاتُ
fal-salihatu
So the righteous women
قَانِتَاتٌ
qanitatun
(are) obedient
حَافِظَاتٌ
hafizatun
guarding
لِّلْغَيْبِ
lil'ghaybi
in the unseen
بِمَا
bima
that which
حَفِظَ
hafiza
(orders) them to guard
اللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
وَاللَّاتِي
wa-allati
And those (from) whom
تَخَافُونَ
takhafuna
you fear
نُشُوزَهُنَّ
nushuzahunna
their ill-conduct
فَعِظُوهُنَّ
fa'izuhunna
then advise them
وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ
wa-uh'juruhunna
and forsake them
فِي
fi
in
الْمَضَاجِعِ
al-madaji'i
the bed
وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّ
wa-id'ribuhunna
and set forth to them / strike them
فَإِنْ
fa-in
Then if
أَطَعْنَكُمْ
ata'nakum
they obey you
فَلَا
fala
then (do) not
تَبْغُوا
tabghu
seek
عَلَيْهِنَّ
alayhinna
against them
سَبِيلًا
sabilan
a way
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
اللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلِيًّا
aliyyan
Most High
كَبِيرًا
kabiran
Most Great
