Al-Ahqaf 46:17

وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

وَالَّذِي

I will be brought forth
وَقَدْ

and have already passed away
خَلَتِ

and have already passed away
الْقُرُونُ
al-qurunu
the generations
مِن

before me

وَهُمَا
wahuma
And they both
يَسْتَغِيثَانِ
yastaghithani
seek help
اللَّهَ
al-laha
(of) Allah
وَيْلَكَ
waylaka
Woe to you
آمِنْ
amin
Believe
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
وَعْدَ
wa'da
(the) Promise
اللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
حَقٌّ
haqqun
(is) true
فَيَقُولُ
fayaqulu
But he says
مَا
ma
Not
هَذَا
hadha
(is) this
إِلَّا
illa
but
أَسَاطِيرُ
asatiru
(the) stories
الْأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
(of) the former (people)
