Surah Al-Ahqaf 46:7 — translation and meaning

وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Transliteration

Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim Aayaatunaa baiyinaatin qaalal lazeena kafaroo lilhaqqi lammaa jaaa'ahum haazaa sihrum mubeen

Translation

And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is obvious magic."

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

And when My verses which are revealed to My Messenger are read to them, the disbelievers say regarding the Qur’ān when it came to them at the hands of their Messenger: “This is clear magic. It is not revelation from Allah”.
