Surah Al-'Ankabut 29:49 — translation and meaning

ۚ بَلْ هُوَ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ فِي صُدُورِ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الظَّالِمُونَ

Our Verses

Transliteration

Bal huwa aayaatum baiyinaatun fee sudooril lazeena ootul 'ilm; wa maa yajhadu bi aayaatinaa illaz zaalimoon

Translation

Rather, the Qur'an is distinct verses [preserved] within the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none reject Our verses except the wrongdoers.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Nay, the Qur’ān that has been revealed to you consists of clear verses which are preserved within the hearts of those believers granted knowledge. Only those who wrong themselves by ascribing partners with Allah and rejecting Him, deny My verses.
