Surah Al-'Ankabut 29:58 — translation and meaning

ۚ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ

وَالَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
آمَنُوا
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُوا
wa'amilu
and do
الصَّالِحَاتِ
al-salihati
[the] righteous deeds
لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم
lanubawwi-annahum
surely We will give them a place
مِّنَ
mina
in
الْجَنَّةِ
al-janati
Paradise
غُرَفًا
ghurafan
lofty dwellings
تَجْرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحْتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
الْأَنْهَارُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَالِدِينَ
khalidina
will abide forever
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
نِعْمَ
ni'ma
Excellent is
أَجْرُ
ajru
(the) reward
الْعَامِلِينَ
al-'amilina
(of) the workers

Transliteration

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati la nubawwi 'annahum minal Jannati ghurafan tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa; ni'ma ajrul 'aamileen

Translation

And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Those who have faith in Allah and perform good deeds through which they draw closer, I will accomodate them in raised dwellings under which rivers flow, wherein they shall reside forever. How great is this reward of those who live in obedience to Allah!
