Surah Al-'Ankabut 29:7 — translation and meaning

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

Word by Word

وَالَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
آمَنُوا
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُوا
wa'amilu
and do
الصَّالِحَاتِ
al-salihati
righteous (deeds)
لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ
lanukaffiranna
surely We will remove
عَنْهُمْ
anhum
from them
سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ
sayyiatihim
their evil deeds
وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ
walanajziyannahum
and We will surely reward them
أَحْسَنَ
ahsana
(the) best
الَّذِي
alladhi
(of) what
كَانُوا
kanu
they used
يَعْمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
(to) do

Transliteration

Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lanukaf firanna 'anhum saiyiaatihim wa lanajziyannahum ahsanal lazee kaanoo ya'maloon

Translation

And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Those who brought faith and were patient on our testing them, and who did good actions, I shall wipe out their sins due to the good actions they did, and I shall reward them in the afterlife with the best of what they used to do in this world.
