وَإِذْ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُ ظُلَّةٌ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ خُذُوا مَا آتَيْنَاكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُوا مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

وَإِذْ
wa-idh
And when
نَتَقْنَا
nataqna
We raised
الْجَبَلَ
al-jabala
the mountain
فَوْقَهُمْ
fawqahum
above them
كَأَنَّهُ
ka-annahu
as if it was
ظُلَّةٌ
zullatun
a canopy
وَظَنُّوا
wazannu
and they thought
أَنَّهُ
annahu
that it
وَاقِعٌ
waqi'un
(would) fall
بِهِمْ
bihim
upon them
خُذُوا
khudhu
(We said) Take
مَا
ma
what
آتَيْنَاكُم
ataynakum
We have given you
بِقُوَّةٍ
biquwwatin
with strength
وَاذْكُرُوا
wa-udh'kuru
and remember
مَا
ma
what
فِيهِ
fihi
(is) in it
لَعَلَّكُمْ
la'allakum
so that you may
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaquna
