Al-Baqara 2:125

ۖ وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَاتَّخِذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ

وَإِذْ

And when
جَعَلْنَا

We made
الْبَيْتَ
al-bayta
the House
مَثَابَةً
mathabatan
a place of return
لِّلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for mankind
وَأَمْنًا
wa-amnan
and (a place of) security
وَاتَّخِذُوا
wa-ittakhidhu
and (said) Take
مِن
min
[from]
مَّقَامِ
maqami
(the) standing place
إِبْرَاهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
مُصَلًّى
musallan
(as) a place of prayer
وَعَهِدْنَا
wa'ahid'na
And We made a covenant
إِلَى
ila
with
إِبْرَاهِيمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ
wa-is'ma'ila
and Ismail
أَن
an
[that]
طَهِّرَا
tahhira
[You both] purify
بَيْتِيَ
baytiya
My House
لِلطَّائِفِينَ
lilttaifina
for those who circumambulate
وَالْعَاكِفِينَ
wal-'akifina
and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer
وَالرُّكَّعِ
wal-ruka'i
and those who bow down
السُّجُودِ
al-sujudi
and those who prostrate
