Surah Al-Furqan 25:31 — translation and meaning

ۗ وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

وَكَذَلِكَ
wakadhalika
And thus
جَعَلْنَا
ja'alna
We have made
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for every
نَبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
Prophet
عَدُوًّا
aduwwan
an enemy
مِّنَ
mina
among
الْمُجْرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
the criminals
وَكَفَى
wakafa
But sufficient is
بِرَبِّكَ
birabbika
your Lord
هَادِيًا
hadiyan
(as) a Guide
وَنَصِيرًا
wanasiran
and a Helper

Transliteration

Wa kazaalika ja'alnaa likulli Nabiyyin 'aduwwam minal mujrimeen; wa kafaa bi Rabbika haadiyanw wa naseeraa

Translation

And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Similar to the harm and preventing others from your path that you - O Messenger - encountered from your people, I had assigned to every Prophet before you an enemy from among the evildoers of his people. Your Lord is a sufficient guide, who guides to the truth, and He is a sufficient helper, who will help you against your enemy.
