Surah Al-Furqan 25:30 — translation and meaning

وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَارَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا

Transliteration

Wa qaalar Rasoolu yaa Rabbi inna qawmit takhazoo haazal Qur-aana mahjooraa

Translation

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned."

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

The Messenger will say on that day complaining about the condition of his people: O my Lord! My people, to whom You sent me, left this Qur’ān and ignored it.
