Surah Al-Hadid 57:7 — translation and meaning

ۖ آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَأَنفِقُوا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ

وَرَسُولِهِ

He has made you
مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ
mus'takhlafina
trustees
فِيهِ
fihi
therein
فَالَّذِينَ
fa-alladhina
And those
آمَنُوا
amanu
who believe
مِنكُمْ
minkum
among you
وَأَنفَقُوا
wa-anfaqu
and spend
لَهُمْ
lahum
for them
أَجْرٌ
ajrun
(is) a reward
كَبِيرٌ
kabirun
great

Transliteration

Aaaminoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wa anfiqoo mimmaa ja'alakum mustakh lafeena feehi fallazeena aamanoo minkum wa anfaqoo lahum ajrun kabeer

Translation

Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

Bring faith in Allah and bring faith in His Messenger, and spend from the wealth that Allah has made you deputies in, using it according to what Allah has legislated for you. As for those of you who have faith in Allah and spend their wealth in His path, for them is a great reward with Him, which is Paradise.
