Transliteration

Wa laqad sarrafnaa fee haazal quraani linnaasi mn kulli masal; wa kaanal insaanu aksara shai'in jadalaa

Translation

And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from every [kind of] example; but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute.

Verse interpretation (Tafsir)

I have explained in different ways, in this Qur’ān that was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him), many types of examples so that they will take a lesson and pay heed. But the thing that is most apparent in man - especially the disbeliever - is to wrongfully argue.
